Logistics Account Manager Location: DSF Logistics, LLC, 5000 Quorum Drive, Dallas, TX Reports to: POD Lead & Jim Johnston, Vice President Job Purpose Summary: DSF Logistics is part of an asset‑based family of companies that has been in the transportation and logistics industry for nearly 50 years. We are searching for motivated and energetic individuals to join our growing Freight Brokerage Team in Addison, TX. The Logistics Account Manager will develop, manage, and grow a book of business as a freight broker using the tools, resources, and training provided by DSF Logistics. Our focus is to build strong, lasting relationships with customers by securing competitive rates while providing the highest quality customer service. We offer a competitive salary plus an uncapped commission structure and are eager to speak with you soon Key Responsibilities Build a profitable book of business and achieve sales goals while managing multiple priorities with urgency. Generate leads and contact new and existing prospects through cold calling, emailing, networking, and referrals. Build relationships with customers and carriers through high‑level communication and provide efficient solutions to meet their needs. Research and maintain a keen understanding of spot markets and trends to provide competitive quotes. Collaborate closely with senior management and operation teams to ensure customer needs are understood and supported. Maintain new and existing software and tools to ensure accurate data and workflow. Process customer information and order entry quickly and diligently to support accounting. Utilize McLeod Software in accordance with company policy, expectations, and senior management direction. Continuously meet and exceed goals set for growth in gross profit, gross margin, acquisition of new accounts, new lanes/locations, and load count. Compensation and Benefits Base Pay: $45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year. Commissions on first dollar billed, scaling 5%–15% between $1,000 and $40,000+ billed margins; no seat cost or cap. 1st‑year bonuses: $2,500 bonus for $15k GP in a single month within first 3 months; $2,500 bonus for $30k GP in a single month within first 6 months. 401(k) matching – eligibility to enroll after 12 months of employment. Health, vision, and dental insurance; paid time off; flexible benefits available at employee’s expense via payroll deduction. Vacation: 13 work days per calendar year (first year prorated, no roll‑over). Absences within the first 90 days are unpaid time off, subject to review. Equipment: Company–provided laptop computer, monitors, desk phone, and necessary software licenses. Pre‑Employment Contingencies: Offer contingent on successful background check, including references, credit, and criminal pre‑screening checks. Job Type: Full‑time Schedule: 8‑hour shift; 7:30 am – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday; 40 hours per week. Work Location: Dallas office unless instructed otherwise.
