Overview Store Manager - Locals' Market This is a hands-on leadership position with responsibility for day-to-day operations, team leadership, and store-level profitability. The Store Manager is expected to understand how decisions around labor, production, pricing, and waste directly affect results. Success in this role requires comfort working with data, sound judgment, and the ability to execute consistently. We are seeking a Store Manager who takes ownership of both the customer experience and the financial performance of the store.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily store operations and ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming shopping environment Lead, schedule, and develop staff with attention to productivity and service standards Manage labor costs through thoughtful scheduling and task planning Monitor and reduce shrinkage, waste, and throwaways Use Excel or similar programs to analyze sales, margins, labor, and costs Identify performance issues early and take corrective action Maintain high standards for product quality, presentation, and customer experience Oversee the chef’s case and sandwich production with attention to: portion control, yield and waste, production planning, pricing discipline Qualifications What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who treats the operation as their responsibility, not just their assignment. Required: Experience managing a retail food operation (market, deli, café, grocery, or similar) Comfort using Excel or similar programs for basic analysis and reporting Ability to make decisions that balance experience, quality, and profitability Clear, steady leadership style Strong understanding of: Food cost, Labor cost, Waste and shrink Preferred: Experience with prepared foods, chef’s case, or sandwich production Experience in planning production and personnel based on demand Familiarity with cost-of-production thinking, not just ingredient cost Willingness to adjust processes, portions, or pricing when needed Compensation: $80,000 yearly #J-18808-Ljbffr
