Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our medical team. As a PA/NP, you will work closely with our pain management physician to provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients. Your role will involve patient assessment, treatment planning, and assisting in various medical procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Collaborate with physician to provide high-quality healthcare services
- Perform medical procedures under the supervision of the physician
- Provide addiction counseling and support to patients
- Assist in coding and documentation of patient records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Stay updated on the latest medical advancements and best practices
Skills:
- Proficiency in AthenaHealth/One or similar electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Strong knowledge of pain management treatment and procedures
-Strong knowledge of orthopedics
- Familiarity with medical coding and documentation practices
- Excellent patient assessment skills
- Proficient in triage and prioritization of patient needs
- Basic life support certification required
