**Certifications:** BLS, NRP
**Must-Have:**
- Level III NICU experience
- Experience in caring for high-risk newborns
**Job Description:**
- Provide care for high-risk, critically ill preterm and term newborns requiring multi-system support measures.
- Patient care includes respiratory support, central lines, chest tubes, and IV therapy.
- Utilize EPIC charting system and Bridge milk management system.
- Perform assessments/reassessments and administer medications.
- Collaborate with ancillary departments and parents to provide exceptional care to infants.
- Support available from a 24/7 Charge Nurse, Respiratory Therapy, and Neonatologist.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including Lactation Consultants, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Social Work, Case Management, Pharmacy, Dietician, and Chaplain.
- Participate in training sessions with a preceptor and work buddy.
- Flexibility in scheduling with no set schedules, including availability for weekends and holidays as needed.
- Comply with Covid and PPE regulations, including fit-testing and use of single-use PPE.
**Orientation:**
- Initial orientation with Nurse Manager and Nurse Educator.
- Training within the department and alongside preceptors.
**Additional Notes:**
- Scrub color is flexible.
- In-house cafeteria available during day and evening hours.
