**Job Title:** Cath Lab Tech
**Job Specialty:** Radiology / Cardiology
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)
**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week
**Experience:** 2 years minimum
**License:** NC or Compact license pending OK at time of submission; Required in hand at the start
**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS; Must have at least one: RCIS or ARRT
**Must-Have:**
- Experience in scrubbing, monitoring, PA lines, and telemetry
- Structural heart & TAVR experience
- Cath lab procedure experience
**Job Description:**
- Accepts first-time travelers with required experience
- Local travelers accepted with rate differences
- Call requirement involves one day a week and one weekend per 4-week schedule
- Floating within hospital or affiliate hospital nearby, if necessary
- Ability to float to EP or patient holding area inside the Cath lab
- Weekend and callback requirements
- Working with EPIC and MAC Lab systems
- Scrubs provided by the facility
- Modules for orientation are non-billable and must be completed pre-start
- Interview availability required within 72 hours of submission
Special Procedures/Unit Details:
- Involvement in complex procedures, such as complex PCIs
- Adheres to a fatigue policy ensuring no more than five consecutive workdays or more than 60 hours in one week
- No RTO allowed during the first week of assignment due to orientation requirements
- Candidates must be comfortable floating according to the job description with no restrictions
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in circulating, IV start, and conscious sedation
- Additional cath lab procedure experience including Watchman procedures, septal closure, ablations, coil embolization, and filter placement
- EKG settings experience and rhythm interpretation skills
**Note:** References are required at the time of start, with two manager/supervisor references from the past 12 months preferred. Candidates who previously worked must wait at least 12 months before applying again as a traveler.
