Job Description Overview of responsibilities and requirements for this role: Designs and codes from specifications, analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs, documents, and implements moderately complex software applications 6+ years of experience using Java, JEE, XML, HTTP and SQL Under general direction, devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications programming activities Monitor program execution for expected performance Modify, install, and prepare technical documentation for system software applications B.S. in Software/Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering; M.S. preferred Strong analytical & troubleshooting skills Experience with Rational IDE tools like RSA, RAD or Eclipse Experience in developing rich UI using AngularJS or any other UI framework Experience in development of complex multi-layer applications Experience in development of multi-threaded applications interfacing with other systems Ability to work in a fast paced environment with 30-day iteration production delivery Ability to start with abstract requirements and ask questions to refine specifics and deliver Sun certification is a PLUS Strong experience with Agile development methodologies/practices Qualifications Educational background: B.S. in Software/Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering; M.S. preferred Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Proven experience with Java, JEE, XML, HTTP, SQL Experience with Rational IDE tools (RSA, RAD) or Eclipse UI development experience (AngularJS or equivalent) Experience with multi-layer and multi-threaded application development Familiarity with Agile methodologies #J-18808-Ljbffr
