**Experience:** 2 years of NICU experience required; Level IV NICU experience preferred, Level III experience considered case by case
**License:** South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License
**Certifications:** BLS, NRP
**Must-Have:**
- Ability to float within the scope to meet facility needs
- 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period; holiday rotation
**Job Description:**
- Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients using nursing principles and practices.
- Deliver safe and effective care in the 82-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to achieve desired patient care outcomes.
- Manage patient ratios that may vary from 1:2 to 1:4, based on acuity.
- Support medical and surgical care for various neonatal conditions, such as prematurity and respiratory distress.
- Utilize equipment and procedures such as ECMO/CRRT and provide surgical support.
- Assist in pediatric palliative care as needed.
- Contribute to an infant home monitoring program for post-discharge monitoring.
- Conduct charting and record-keeping in line with facility protocols.
- Participate in a mandatory emergency response team during hurricane season.
Additional Information:
- Open to accommodating block schedule at manager's discretion.
- Locals considered case by case with certain conditions.
- Previous permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for 1 year before returning as a traveler.
- Modules to be completed pre-start, with an average of 4 hours spent. Orientation includes 16 hours non-billable.
