Electrical VDC Coordinator is responsible for the BIM design of power systems and/or building systems and systems infrastructures. DUTIES & SCOPE BIM modeling of electrical systems. Work under the direction of a VDC Manager. Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines by VDC coordination meeting attendance. Understand BIM scope of work and adhere to BEP (BIM Execution Plan). Prepare electrical model content for VDC coordination meetings following electrical code and Helix's standards. Creation of shop drawings to provide to the field. Maintain a high level of verbal and written communication skills. Understand single line diagrams and electrical drawings. Potential field site visits with a possibility to be stationed on a project site. Work with the Superintendents and Field personnel to understand installation means and methods. Provide top service to our clients with consistent and concise communication. QUALIFICATIONS 3-5 years of electrical BIM experience in power systems and/or building systems infrastructures. Must show 1-3 projects previously coordinated as portfolio. Knowledge of Autodesk production software (Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Point Layout, BIM 360). Dedication to learning, expanding knowledge and continuous improvement. Superior organizational and communication skills. Problem solving, acceptance of responsibility, and work ethic. Able to work with teams, supervisors and direct reports that work in remote offices. Motivation to complete tasks on time and on budget. Must successfully pass a Revit test. This is not a remote / work-from-home position. The starting base pay for this role is between USD $65,000.00 and $90,000.00 per year. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as location, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for bonus and benefits.
