Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care and support to patients in various medical settings.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct patient assessments and provide direct patient care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information
- Assist with medical procedures such as wound care, catheter insertion, and IV therapy
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention

Skills:

- Proficient in taking vital signs accurately
- Experience in urgent care or fast-paced medical environments
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems like Cerner
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assess patient conditions effectively
- Ability to operate neonatal ventilators and dialysis machines
- Competency in performing spinal taps and other critical care procedures
