Assistant Store Manager – Sherwin-Williams Apply for the Assistant Store Manager role at Sherwin-Williams in Sturgeon Bay, WI. Base Pay Range $56,753.00 / yr – $72,251.44 / yr Job Description The Assistant Store Manager works with the store manager to organize, plan, and implement strategies in a Sherwin-Williams paint store. The role supports all aspects of store operations—customer service, marketing, merchandising, inventory, finances, and safety—while supervising and training staff and contacting customers to generate sales leads. The position requires a typical schedule of 44 hours per week, may include evenings and weekends, and is eligible for performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities Support business strategies to increase sales and optimize profitability Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service Build and maintain knowledge of all products to make effective customer recommendations Build positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards Support employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action Respond to and resolve any customer and/or employee complaints Partner with the Store Manager to make outside sales calls to increase market share Qualifications Minimum Requirements At least eighteen (18) years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States without needing sponsorship Valid, unrestricted driver’s license High school diploma or GED Ability to retrieve material and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion Preferred Qualifications At least one year experience in retail, sales, or customer service; or completed Sherwin-Williams Management Training Program One year of leadership experience supervising others or leading teams Experience selling paint and paint‑related products Experience using time‑keeping and/or customer relationship management (“CRM”) systems Associate degree or higher in business, sales, or marketing Willingness to relocate for future opportunities Ability to read, write, and communicate in more than one language (incl.
