Aspirus Langlade Hospital part of the Aspirus Health system is seeking board-certified Emergency Medicine physicians for steady scheduled clinical coverage in a 10-bed ED serving Northeastern Wisconsin. Annual ED volume is 13,500, with an adjacent Urgent Care ( 14,500 annual visits) considered part of the ED. Epic EMR. Trauma Level IV. The Assignment Facility: Aspirus Langlade Hospital Emergency Department (Antigo, WI) Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only (no call) Start: 1/20/2026 Duration: Ongoing Shifts/Volume: patients per shift; ED has 10 beds Team: One MD/DO on shift; APC support on some days; supervise APPs as needed Practice Scope: Full spectrum ED care, including airways and procedures (intubations, central lines, chest tubes, FAST exams, LPs). A central transfer line is available for tertiary transfers. EMR: Epic Requirements Board Certification: Emergency Medicine or ABIM/ABFM with EM experience. Licensure: Wisconsin license or IMLC- IPL will help with WI licensure. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS IPL can help with Life Support certification if needed. Privileges: Hospital/surgery center privileges are not required Credentialing: 90 days Setting & Resources Trauma Level: IV Pediatrics Level: 0 Support Staff: ED RN staffing 2 4; APCs variable; UC staffed with 2 APCs Holiday Coverage: New Year s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas (as applicable) Travel & Logistics Nearest Airport: Central Wisconsin Airport (CWA) Mosinee, WI Lodging: Holiday Inn Express Antigo Insurance: Provided by IPL Health Staffing.
