Locum - Physician - Hospitalist - OB Forth Worth, TXJoin a dynamic OB/GYN Hospitalist team and play a vital role in women's health care in the vibrant community of Fort Worth, Texas. This exciting per diem opportunity offers experienced physicians the flexibility to work varied shifts while providing exceptional care at Texas Health Harris Methodist Alliance Hospital, known for its advanced health information technology and comprehensive medical services. Serving over 50,000 patients annually, this role is perfect for professionals committed to making a meaningful impact in a supportive environment.Required Skills: Valid medical license in Texas Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology Proven experience in obstetric care, including triage, delivery, and inpatient management Strong clinical decision-making skills Ability to manage OB triage, admissions, and emergencies effectively Effective communication and teamwork skills Nice to Have Skills: Experience with surgical assists during Cesarean sections Prior involvement in hospitalist or OB-GYN-specific roles Familiarity with healthcare technology and electronic medical records Bilingual abilities are a plus Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Minimum 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience preferred Current BLS, ACLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications Other Requirements: Availability to cover specific dates, including December through March, with flexibility for additional dates as needed Willingness to credential 2-3 providers Ability to work 24-hour shifts and night call coverage Willingness to adapt to scheduled shifts and emergency situations Ability to maintain compliance with hospital and state regulations This role offers an hourly pay rate of $214.50, with orientation hours at 50% of the standard rate, additional pay for overtime over 40 hours/week, and a 1.25x rate for holidays.
