We have an exciting full-time opportunity for an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, Michigan. Position Profile: 51,000 patient encounters annually Level III Trauma Center 52 rooms including 4 trauma bays 12 room observation area 12-hour Advanced Practice Provider shifts 24 hours Advanced Practice Provider coverage daily EPIC EMR Fast Track Comprehensive benefits plan including health, dental, vision, 401K with employer contribution and CME allowance The Corewell Health Lakeland Medical Center, a 196-bed hospital located in Berrien County, southwest Michigan, offers a wide range of advanced medical services. The hospital s specialized services include a chest pain center, stroke center, oncology, cardiology, pediatrics, and more. The hospital operates 24/7 with 42 private emergency department rooms equipped for cardiac observation and emergency care provided by board-certified physicians. It also features a fully accredited Osteopathic Emergency Medicine Residency program, which has been training medical professionals since 2011. Additionally, the hospital houses the Frederick S. Upton Education Center, which offers various health education programs for the community. Corewell Health Lakeland is the primary healthcare system for Berrien County and serves patients from five surrounding counties.
