Global Senior Category Manager – Bel Group Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid work). Country: United States. Contract: Unlimited-term. Job ID: 52827. Bel Group is a global leader in branded cheeses and a major player in the food industry through dairy, fruit and plant‑based products. Overview As a Global Senior Category Manager, you will shape and execute the global category growth strategy. You will work closely with the Global Category Growth Director and cross‑functional teams across regions to unlock growth opportunities and deliver value. Responsibilities Develop and execute the global category vision and growth strategy, collaborating with regional and local teams. Lead strategic category initiatives: innovation launches, portfolio optimization, best practice sharing across markets. Analyze market trends, consumer insights and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities. Partner with marketing, sales and R&D to drive category growth projects from ideation to execution. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and business cases to senior management and external partners. Track performance metrics, report on progress and recommend course corrections. Foster a culture of collaboration, agility and continuous improvement within the global category team. Qualifications 7+ years category management, marketing or commercial roles within FMCG or a related sector. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; synthesize complex data into actionable insights. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities in a matrix and multicultural environment. Demonstrated leadership potential and ability to influence across functions and geographies. Fluent in English; additional languages a plus. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, marketing or a related field. Benefits Base Salary: $160,000–$170,000.
