As a Research Scientist, you will design, develop, and apply innovative AI technologies, including large scale time‑series and scientific foundation models, to tackle complex challenges in the energy sector. Roles and Responsibilities Research, conceptualize, and develop AI solutions for hard industrial problems Design, develop, train, fine‑tune, and/or distill state‑of‑the‑art foundation models Collaborate with team of researchers on new and continuing projects Demonstrate value of AI through prototypes and solutions for real‑world problems Develop and employ software libraries, tools, and practices to implement efficient, scalable, and reusable solutions Create intellectual property by writing invention disclosures and filing patents Publish research work to scientific conferences and journals Writing and/or supporting grant proposals Required Qualifications PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields with a focus on Artificial Intelligence Demonstrated ability to write Python code and familiarity with AI packages and frameworks like PyTorch, HuggingFace, etc. Deep expertise in one or more of: Multi‑Modal Foundation Models, Time‑Series Foundation Models, and Scientific Machine Learning with Physics. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s education and skill set.
