Provides the following services, echocardiogram and vascular exams (carotid, lower extremity venous and lower extremity arterial studies) on hospital outpatients in departmental exam rooms. Assists with other patient related activities daily. Able to explain all aspects of multiple test procedures. Properly positions patient, attaches equipment and adjusts control settings to obtain optimal display. Administers two-dimensional, m-mode and Doppler (pulse wave, imaging and non-imaging continuous wave, and color flow mapping) echocardiograms and vascular exams to patients while recording digital clips. Knowledge of Bubble Contrast echocardiograms, Contrast echocardiograms, Exercise Stress Echocardiograms, and Pharmacological Stress Echocardiograms. Insures proper equipment disinfection in accordance with established protocol.

This is a full-time day shift position 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday, located at our Bayridge location.

Preferred Criteria:

  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer.
  • CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer.

Required Criteria:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Cardiovascular Ultrasound Program Graduate.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support.
  • ARDMS Registered Sonographer.
  • 1 year of experience.
