About the Role The Ultrasound Technologist will ensure high-quality patient care in a diagnostic and therapeutic setting, focusing on excellence in imaging. You will: Perform various imaging procedures as ordered by physicians. Manage daily activities to maintain quality patient care. Demonstrate proficiency in both surgical and portable ultrasound exams. Document all exams accurately using Meditech and manage imaging results in PACS. Ensure quality control and proper handling of equipment. Collect and document patient histories and lab values effectively. Qualifications Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment. Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification required. Abdomen Specialty (RDMS-AB) certification must be completed within 1 year of employment. Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment.
