This team is supporting applications within enterprise data org and modernizing. Core platform for banks optimization team. Currently it is legacy tech stack not web app but more on client side written in 1.8 java (java 8) with swing components for UI and T-sql backend. Code is embedded in T-sql procedures for sql server database. Java Swing and Sql and microsoft Sql server main flavor. Goal would be to modernize the platforms so wouldn't choose same architecture, more modern architecture would be spring in AWS so understanding springboot,terraform, Javascript / Angular / React a bonus not initial requirement though. 60% Swing and Java work 40% T-SQL. Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong Communication, Hybrid onsite downtown Cincinnati 4-5 Days Full lifecycle application development Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages. Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD) Software modeling and simulation Front end graphical user interface design Software testing and quality assurance Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation. Support, maintain and document software functionality Integrate software with existing systems Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation Maintain standards compliance Implement localization or globalization of software Undergraduate degree in computer engineering, computer science, information technology or a related discipline.
