* Develop a deep understanding of the components of the Technology P&L to help drive insights and analytics on the financial performance of the business* Accurately analyze & explain key drivers and monthly variances, suggest actions to the business, and manage the regular reporting process for multiple segments* Generate ongoing analytical insights into overall financial performance* Develop and deliver senior management presentations* Partner with internal leaders to provide strategic finance and finance perspective on business initiatives* Create well-managed sustainable processes and continuously challenge what’s possible* Independently manage, prioritize, and delegate tasks* Articulate outcomes of analysis and relevant insights* Able to critically evaluate option sets and present recommendations* Effective under both open-ended and tight timelines* Partner with leadership and business teams to assess the financial implications of ongoing efforts to grow the organization* Develop presentations to communicate business and analysis results to senior leadership audiences* Comfortable working in blank canvas and the ability to get work done through others* **Financial analysis & reporting:** Accurately analyze & explain balance sheet and income statement implications of decisions and suggest actions to the business* **Executive business presentations:** Assist in development of presentations to communicate analysis results to senior audiences; clearly articulate outcomes of analysis to leadership teams* Ad-hoc requests and special projects* Independently manage, prioritize, and delegate tasks* Coordinate across Capital One’s corporate Global Finance teams in support of business decisions* Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to investigate and assess any industry related topics and strategic options.* Bachelor’s Degree or military experience* At least 4 years’ of experience in financial analysis* At least 4 years’ experience with financial modeling* At least 1 year of experience managing a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function* Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s Degree in Finance* 5+ years of financial planning and analysis experienceCapital One offers a comprehensive, competitive, and inclusive set of health, financial and other benefits that support your total well-being.
