- Physical Therapist 1: Open to new graduates; 1-2 years of experience preferred
- Physical Therapist 2: Minimum of 5 years of experience with advanced clinical competency certification
- Physical Therapist 3: Minimum of 10 years of experience with advanced clinical competency certification and certified in two subspecialties
**License:** Current Physical Therapy license (or obtain prior to hire date)
**Certifications:** BLS certification required
**Must-Have:** Degree from an accredited university recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association
**Job Description:**
- Provide evaluation and treatment for inpatients in Acute Care, outpatients, and residents of the Long Term Care unit according to professional standards.
- Deliver treatment by referral from physicians under the supervision of the Director of Rehabilitation.
- Assist in the supervision of Physical Therapy Assistants or Aides, Long Term Care Restorative Aides, and volunteers or students.
- Interact daily with the public, other employees, patients and families, and physicians, maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Responsible for the clinical direction and development of a Rehab Department subspecialty (PT 2 or PT 3 only).
- Evidence-based, optimal patient care is a top priority.
