Certified Nurse Midwife Opening in St. Johnsbury, VT (Permanent)Full time, permanentEmployed3 years' experience requiredPosition Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our collaborative team of OBGYNs and Midwives in a full-time role. This position involves a blend of clinic days and shared call duties, providing a full scope of midwifery services in a supportive rural setting.Position Highlights:Collaborate with a team of OBGYNs, midwives, and women's health nurse practitioners.Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for midwifery patients.Deliveries are conducted in a spacious birth center designed to support physiologic birth and patient choice.Options for water labor and birth, nitrous oxide, intrathecal, and VBAC.1:1 nursing support during labor and delivery.Comfortable call room suite and full-time lactation counselor support.Birth center holds a Baby Friendly designation for its commitment to supporting mothers and babies.Qualifications:Nurse Midwifery certification.Current Vermont RN and APRN license (or ability to obtain).Current Vermont DEA (or ability to obtain).Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA.Benefits:Competitive salary with a comprehensive compensation package.Loan repayment and relocation assistance.Generous paid time off and continuing medical education opportunities.401k with company match.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance options.Complimentary gym membership and additional benefits to support work-life balance.About the Community: Located in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, St. Johnsbury is a scenic and welcoming community offering a great quality of life.
