Role Overview To boost sustainable business growth and enhance its servicesSodexo has embarked on an Azure public cloud transformation. The transformation goal is to modernize the infrastructure platforms and enterprise applications utilizing Azure cloud services and technologies. Under this program, the cloud team will ensure a strong alignment and collaboration between the Business and IS&T teams key stakeholders. Interested in joining the team? We are looking for anAzure Cloud Architect to join a dedicated team of Cloud Architects within the North American (NORAM) Team. Architect, design, develop, and troubleshoot cloud solutions across a hybrid cloud platform Work closely with the Global Teams (Infrastructure, Security, Network, Enterprise, Application & Data) to ensure the platform/product designed and deployed are secure and compliant with Sodexo Standards and global cloud program strategy. Effectively Interface with Application Sponsors and Owners at varying organizational levels This is aRemote Role with the preferred candidate residing in the Eastern Standard Time Zone What You’ll Do Check and analyze the technical impacts of new solutions and their integration within the existing ecosystem. Design the technical architecture with a focus on user experience, scalability, standardization, costs, and security Accurately scope multiple concurrent project requirements and meet delivery timelines. Understand delivery requirements, identify process and knowledge gaps and work to bridge them. Clearly understand business and technology dependencies and collaboratively works with cross-functional teams to assist in delivering solutions in a timely manner Create technical documentation and architecture diagrams For all new projects or technologies, participate in the impact assessment on existing or planned infrastructure. Recommend technical solutions based on Sodexo Global Standards to maintain consistency throughout this period of change. Advise on the use and possible implementations of Cloud Platforms within the Sodexo ecosystem. Manage architectural choices and orientations while keeping alignment with the Global standards. Have a strong understanding across Cloud and infrastructure components (servers, Virtualization, storage, network data, and applications) to deliver end to end Cloud Infrastructure architectures and designs. Have knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc Interact with the entire ecosystem of the Cloud Competency Centers cross Regions. Work in team with architects from other fields (Enterprise Architects, Data Architects, Security Architects, Network Architects, Application Architects) Manage partner relationships and development efforts across multiple teams and areas of responsibility. Promote the architectural standards defined by the Global Cloud Competency Center and ensure alignment with Global Enterprise Architecture guidance & principles What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. What You Bring Required skills in Cloud Architecture around Azure (Ability to design and implement cloud infrastructure, platforms, and applications) oMinimum Azure architect certification - AZ 305 or equivalent: Microsoft Certified Azure solutions Architect o5 years’ experience in Azure architecture role o10 years’ experience in architecture role including data center technologies oExperience working with Azure DevOps in Scrum or Agile methodology Knowledge of various complex IT ecosystems in addition to cloud architecture Knowledge of IT Management (ITIL) processes Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
