Senior Mechanical Engineer - King of Prussia, PA The salary for this position is between $140,000-$170,000, contingent upon the candidate’s experience and demonstrated technical proficiency. We’re seeking a full‑time mechanical engineer to lead our expanding team and contribute to the design and management of mechanical and piping projects in the pharmaceutical and food & beverage industries. Develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs, drawings, and specifications for mechanical and piping disciplines, and manage contracts, client relationships, and deliverable quality. Design disciplines: HVAC systems Dust collection Chilled water systems Heating water Controls Plumbing Other responsibilities: Manage contracts and clients for MEP projects Train and grow the Mechanical team Perform quality review of deliverables and project execution (~50% of workload) Design mechanical systems such as HVAC, hydronic, and steam (~50% of workload) Assess project requirements, break them into tasks, and collaborate with Project Managers to determine scope, budget, and staffing Write scopes of work for mechanical or utility design based on preliminary reviews and client meetings Prepare engineering studies and schematic designs for new systems and evaluate existing systems’ operation Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering Experience in engineering consulting within the food & beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing industries 8+ years of design engineering experience Knowledge of HVAC system design and experience with central utilities (steam, chilled water, compressed air) Experience designing material handling and dust collection systems (asset) Solid knowledge of mechanical codes and standards including ASHRAE, ACGIH, and NFPA Familiarity with ISPE and HACCP requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Revit Send us your application today.
