Detailed Responsibilities Develop and execute holistic data strategies that align with business goals and drive innovation. Collaborate with IT, business units, and senior leadership to integrate data-driven insights into decision-making processes. Design and implement data governance frameworks, ensuring data integrity, quality, and compliance with regulations. Lead efforts in data architecture planning and modernization, focusing on scalability and security. Oversee the development and execution of advanced analytics and business intelligence initiatives to support business performance. Identify and evaluate emerging data technologies and trends, proposing enhancements to data capabilities. Manage relationships with external data vendors and partners, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Mentor and guide a team of data professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence. Stay current with industry trends and best practices, proactively suggesting improvements to data strategy processes. Ensure all data strategy activities comply with regulatory standards and internal policies. Must-Have Qualifications Minimum 15 years of experience in data strategy, data management, or related roles. Proven expertise in developing and implementing successful data strategies in complex organizations. Strong understanding of data architecture, data governance, and data analytics. Experience with data management technologies and tools (e.g., SQL, Hadoop, Tableau). Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to translate data into strategic insights. Proficiency in data privacy regulations and best practices. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CDMP, DAMA) are a plus. Experience in the (specific industry) sector, particularly with regulatory and compliance requirements.
