**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in PCU
**License:** Valid State License Required
**Certifications:** ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS
**Must-Have:**
- Experience in telemetry, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response
- Familiarity with computerized charting systems, particularly EPIC
**Job Description:**
- Work in a mixed unit of PCU, Med Surg Tele, and Med Surg, focusing on adult and geriatric patient care
- Manage patient diagnoses related to renal, urological, and vascular conditions
- Handling special procedures such as Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) and Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI)
- Administer IV therapy and phlebotomy, focusing on peripheral line care and management
- Adhere to heparin protocols and manage dysrhythmias
- Utilize non-invasive airway management techniques and nasal cannula for respiratory care
- Rotate every other weekend with night shifts on Friday and Saturday
- Float within the service line across various facilities as needed, with potential units including Neuro/Stroke, Cardiac, Orthopedic, Trauma, Oncology, General Surgery, Urology/Vascular, and Observation
- Complete required modules and orientation, which includes a dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam
- Work in a level I trauma center and adhere to facility policies and guidelines
