Position Summary This role supports the store manager in daily operations and leads a diverse team. Responsibilities include preparing daily paperwork, troubleshooting car wash and gas pump issues, and leading staff in forecasting, ordering, stocking, merchandising, and maintaining a clean customer-friendly environment. The assistant team leader embodies our core values of people, teamwork, communication, training, results, fun, customer centeredness, and safety. Primary Responsibilities Training and coaching new store staff Assisting in creating schedules in a timekeeping system Stocking products on shelves and ensuring the store looks clean and professional Forecasting, ordering, stocking, and merchandising products Reconciling store paperwork promptly Providing efficient, courteous customer service to store customers, vendors, and staff Maintaining a clean, customer-friendly environment in the store and surrounding property Assisting with management of store staff Troubleshooting and resolving car wash related issues Fixing gas-related issues such as drive-offs and pumps being down Additional duties as assigned Requirements and Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required 6 to 9 months’ experience as an assistant manager or equivalent combination of education and experience Strong math skills Strong written and oral communication skills Desire to be part of a performance-driven team Reliable transportation to and from the workplace Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to work various shifts and days of the week depending on business needs Physical Requirements Constant standing, bending, and reaching with moderate manual dexterity. Frequent lifting of 1 to 5 pounds and occasional lifting up to 40-50 pounds. Employee Incentives Employees with us 6 months to 3 years: 0.10¢ off a gallon of fuel Employees with us 3 years to 5 years: 0.30¢ off a gallon of fuel Employees with us 5+ years: 0.40¢ off a gallon of fuel Maximum 20 gallons and 2 fill ups per week Disclaimer The list above is not a complete list.
