Manager Food Warehouse & Distribution Join NBCUniversal as a Manager responsible for the operations and distribution of food warehouse functions—including receiving, delivery, fulfillment, inventory, and picking—across park and Citywalk food units. Overview The role requires leadership and culture change, implementing process and policy, holding warehouse staff accountable, managing shift coverage, and representing warehouse matters at senior‑level meetings. Key responsibilities include meeting operational metrics such as delivery‑time accuracy, order accuracy, inventory control, safety, and team satisfaction. Essential Functions Receive and ship food and beverage products accurately to the warehouse and venues. Manage daily warehouse operations, including quality assurance, housekeeping, safety, and facility maintenance. Develop and administer SOPs, policies, and training programs. Coordinate with HR to manage scheduling, payroll, performance appraisals, and dispute resolution. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance, Inventory Control, and sourcing departments to maintain compliance and reduce shortages. Lead weekly financial and operational reporting to track metrics such as labor, COGS, and waste. Act as a safety role model and lead daily walk‑through inspections. Support union relations and represent the warehouse in labor‑related meetings. Handle customer service concerns and complaints for theme park and Citywalk food units. Support team development through coaching, mentorship, and goal‑setting. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications 3‑5 years of warehouse operations experience, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control, with 3‑5 years of managerial experience (or equivalent education/experience). Availability for night shifts, weekends, holidays, and outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Ability to create SOPs, job aids, and written policies. Desirable Characteristics Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong passion for high‑quality guest service. Strong organizational, planning, delegation, mentoring, and coaching skills. Experience managing in a union environment. Proficiency with Windows Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and inventory control software (e.g., Eatec, Robocom). Bachelor’s degree preferred.
