As a result, our national Power Generation team is poised for monumental growth. We are seeking a qualified Senior Electrical Engineer to help our clients develop, contract, and implement natural gas and potentially renewable energy generation projects while serving as Owner’s Engineer and/or Advisor. Opportunities are available in these preferred locations: Austin, Ann Arbor, Boise, Bismarck, Billings, Charlotte, Chicago, Denver, Irvine, Fort Worth, Houston, Honolulu, Kansas City, Madison, Minneapolis, Missoula, Omaha, Phoenix, Portland (OR & ME), Richmond, Raleigh Sacramento/Folsom, San Diego, Seattle, Spokane, St Louis, Syracuse. The Senior Electrical Power Engineer candidate should have experience within the utility scale power and renewable energy industry and be capable of leading teams for power generation design projects including supporting in a traditional Owner’s Engineering role. Responsibilities Lead teams for power generation design projects Support in managing client relationships Lead marketing activities including proposal technical writing, fee builds, and work breakdown structure development in response to requests for proposals Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program with an Electrical Power emphasis Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Control Systems Engineering with an Electrical Power emphasis Minimum 15 years of experience in electrical power generation design Design experience with simple cycle and combined cycle power generation Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering A minimum of 10 years of experience Professional Engineers (PE or P.Eng) license Extensive experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector HDR is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
