Locum Tenens Opportunity: Pediatric Hospitalist Near Blue Eye, MO We are seeking two dedicated Pediatric Hospitalists for a locum tenens opportunity near Blue Eye, MO. This position offers a unique chance to provide high-quality care in an inpatient setting and contribute to a long-term coverage plan. The role is available immediately and will continue on an ongoing basis. Position Details: Specialty: Pediatric Hospitalist Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Provider Type: Physician Request Type: Locum Tenens Coverage Type: Call Only Practice Setting: Inpatient Key Responsibilities: Role: Provide comprehensive care for pediatric patients in a hospital setting. Manage admissions and rounding duties, covering both day and night shifts. Ensure high standards of care in a stroke-certified facility. Schedule: Initially, 15 shifts per month, increasing to approximately 30 shifts per month by mid-October. Shifts are 12 hours long, with options for day (6 AM - 6 PM) or night (6 PM - 6 AM) coverage. Qualifications and Requirements: Licensing and Certification: Must be licensed in Missouri. ACLS certification is required. BLS, ABLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications are not required. Experience: Experience in pediatric hospital care is preferred. Comfort with managing both inpatient admissions and rounding. Additional Information: No hospital/surgery center privileges required.
