Lead Electrical Engineer - Hydropower & Renewables - Sacramento/Rancho Cordova, CA Relocation eligible, and Visa Sponsorship available We have a full‑time opportunity for a Lead Electrical Engineer supporting Hydropower & Renewable projects for our Sacramento, CA area office. In this role you'll have the opportunity to: Lead Electrical Engineer on Hydropower, Hydraulic Structure, and Renewable Projects Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including peer engineering and BIM+ technical staff Develop electrical drawing deliverables including single line diagrams, schematics, interconnection diagrams, and equipment layouts Develop electrical equipment specifications and BOMs for procurement and construction Attend on‑site meetings, investigate existing conditions, and provide support during construction Extensively use business systems such as ProjectWise, electrical engineering software such as ETAP, and AutoCAD to view engineering drawings Minimum Qualifications Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering with 11 years related work experience. Most positions typically require professional registration or licensure or be in active pursuit of such registration. Preferred Qualifications Detailed electrical design engineering experience working for 5 or more industrial or electric utility clients Experience with hydraulic structures, hydropower or related industrial infrastructure projects (or working within power generation) Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously Experience with power system analysis software (SKM, ETAP, Easy Power) Experience or interest in on‑site assessments and construction inspections preferred Client‑facing and proactive communication skills both written and verbal Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards related to assigned engineering discipline #J-18808-Ljbffr
