Social Creative Strategist – Contract (Hybrid, Greater Chicago area) W2 only, no C2C, must be authorized to work in the US (both now and in the future). Location: Hybrid/Remote Greater Chicago area Compensation range: $25-32/hr Carex is partnering with a manufacturing industry partner to find a strategic and trend-savvy Social Creative Strategist to help shape how iconic brands connect with their audiences through meaningful and innovative social media initiatives. This role will play a key part in driving consumer engagement by leading cross-platform campaigns, developing social engagement strategies, and sourcing brand and creator partnership opportunities that cultivate lasting brand love and advocacy. What You’ll Do Coordinate and execute approved social media campaigns across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, including surprise-and-delight initiatives, brand partnerships, gifting, and advocacy programs. Collaborate with internal teams and agency partners to ensure campaign alignment with broader brand strategies and timelines. Track deliverables and manage timelines for social initiatives with precision and accountability. Identify and recommend new engagement opportunities such as creator partnerships, gifting moments, and cultural trend participation. Partner with Social Content Creators to support reactive content production, informed by social listening, community engagement, and platform trends. Develop strategic recommendations for content creation, audience engagement, and social channel growth. Provide insights on content and engagement performance in collaboration with the Social Media Data Analyst. Maintain fluency in emerging social platforms, tools, and audience behaviors to inform creative strategy. What You’ll Bring 2+ years of experience in social media strategy, campaign execution, and audience engagement. Demonstrated ability to craft strategic approaches that go beyond content posting. Proficiency in coordinating partnerships and influencer/creator collaborations. Strong understanding of social media platforms, emerging trends, and strategic optimization. Experience using social media management platforms (Sprinklr preferred). Exceptional communication and project coordination skills. Strategic thinker with analytical capabilities and creative problem-solving skills. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field preferred. Bilingual fluency in Spanish is a plus. Willingness to travel up to 25% for event coverage, team collaboration, or content creation. Carex Consulting Group is an equal opportunity employer.
