The VP, Finance will lead and manage budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes for controllership. Role and Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the Finance department ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and general ledger process, ensuring accuracy and timely execution. Collaborate with financial management teams to analyze department finances and develop budgets that align with the organization\'s goals. Mentor and manage teams within the finance department, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Engage with senior management to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations. Implement and oversee financial control systems and processes to manage risk and exposure for the organization. Key Skills Expertise in strategic financial planning and execution within an insurance industry context. Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and mentor a diverse finance team. Exceptional analytical capabilities with a detail-oriented mindset. Proven success as a Finance Business Partner, demonstrating the ability to align financial management strategies with business objectives.
