Design and develop presentation layer UI prototypes, synthesizing visual, motion, input, and interaction design across a diverse and evolving technology ecosystem. Contribute technical expertise throughout all stages of product design and development, including conceptual design, visual design language, motion personality, input language, UI platform, and tools maturity, prototyping, and production. Own quality standards, processes, schedules, costs, resources, training, and deliverables. Offer alternatives when technology constraints require design compromises. Help develop and refine UI pattern libraries and interaction guidelines. Utilize responsive design and emerging coding and design practices. Bring a multidisciplinary perspective to product design discussions. Qualifications: Microsoft experience is strongly preferred, including experience with Microsoft (1st party) or comparable companies like Facebook, Google, or Amazon. Top Skills Required: Portfolio review/ability to share prior work exemplars of skills required. Familiarity with current trends in conversational user interfaces, web and responsive design, social media, bots, and bot development tools.
