Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant

Questcare, a division of Envision Physician Services, is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic group of providers at Medical City Dallas in the Pediatric Emergency Department
Position Overview: As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to pediatric patients in our Emergency Department. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and support staff, you will assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of pediatric medical conditions and emergencies.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Formulating and implementing treatment plans
- Providing patient and family education
- Collaborating with other healthcare providers to coordinate multidisciplinary care
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Current licensure / Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (preferred)
- Acute care training or fellowship (required)
- Previous experience in pediatric emergency medicine or a related field (if possible)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care

Their PED features an updated world-class 40,000-square foot facility with a Level III trauma designation, separate pediatric waiting area, triage, and nursing station.
