As a Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (SCM) Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, configuration, and optimization of the Dynamics 365 SCM module to meet the specific needs of our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful deployment and adoption of the system.
Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (SCM) Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to supply chain management.
Design, configure, and customize Dynamics 365 SCM to meet the unique needs of each client, including processes related to procurement, inventory management, warehouse management, and distribution.
Develop and implement best practices for utilizing Dynamics 365 SCM, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing support to ensure smooth adoption and utilization of the system.
Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to optimize system performance and efficiency.
Stay updated on the latest features and updates in Dynamics 365 SCM, and proactively recommend enhancements or improvements to existing implementations.
Collaborate with technical teams for integration with other systems and applications, such as ERP systems, CRM systems, and third-party logistics providers.
Participate in project planning, estimation, and risk management activities, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
Document system configurations, processes, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and support future enhancements or upgrades.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience (X years) implementing and configuring Dynamics 365 SCM or a similar ERP system, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
In-depth understanding of supply chain management processes and best practices, with the ability to translate business requirements into system configurations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose effective solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders at all levels.
Relevant certifications in Dynamics 365 SCM or related Microsoft technologies (e.g., MB-330: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, Functional Consultant) are a plus.
Experience with other modules of Dynamics 365 (e.g., Finance, Sales, Customer Service) and integration with other systems is desirable.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
