RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties Include: (this is a guideline to help you evaluate the position, additional duties as required)

  • Evaluate and measure current production processes and methods.
  • Verify, monitor and update labor and material rates and costs.
  • Develop Manufacturing Routers and Bills of Material.
  • Verify, edit and write manufacturing process instructions.
  • Assist in the evaluation and development of process and manufacturability improvement methods.
  • Ensure all documentation is complete for all product lines, this includes Assembly Drawings, Routers, Costed Bills of Material, Test Specs, QA/Test Procedures, Jigs and Fixtures and other required documentation as applicable.
  • Participate in ICC Certification submittal, acceptance and assurance.
  • Aid in the training and development of personnel in building processes and product.
  • Ensure inventory is property valued in ERP
  • Desired Skills/Characteristics:
  • Associates in Industrial Engineering or equivalent preferred.
  • ASCM CPIM preferred.
  • Advanced understanding of manufacturing methods and manufacturing costing.
  • Experience with ERP systems, Aptean preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Technical writing ability preferred including the use of Excel and Word.
  • Accuracy, organizational and time management skills important, as is ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • 1-2 years experience in a fast pace manufacturing firm
  • Accounting experience a plus, specifically in helping facilitate product costing that allows detailed tracking of margins
