Job Description

Duties :

• Performs complex clerical accounting duties involving routine and non-routine calculations and analysis, reconciliations, verifications, and postings while ensuring accuracy and validity in the accounting processes.

• Requires limited work direction.

• Maintains and processes accounting transactions to assist with accurate financial reporting.

• Reconciles the more complex accounts, identifies discrepancies found, and provides the corrective action to be taken.

• Assists with month-end close activities and preparing financial exhibits.

Required Skills:

- High attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong analytical skills and experience with complex data analysis

- Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to quickly learn multiple Payroll/IT software systems

- Ability to approach change with a positive mindset

- Ability to identify and implement process improvements

- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word

Desired Skills:

- Knowledge of payroll and payroll tax

- Experience maintaining confidential information

- Proficiency with SAP

- Experience using IBM/Host applications, such as TSO (Time Sharing Option) and RMDS (Report Management and Distribution System)

Education:

Associate or bachelor’s degree in a business or accounting discipline or equivalent experience.
