Job Description:

Shift: 0800-1630, Mon-Fri

Job Highlights:

  • First Time Travelers Accepted
  • Call Requirement: One day a week from 6:30 pm (or end of shift) to 7 am the following day, and one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) a month.
  • Certification Requirements: BLS and ARRT
  • Skillset Requirements: Minimum 2 Years Experience. Technologist needs to be able to scrub both peripheral and neuro cases including Stents, Angioplasty, Angiograms, Nephogram, Peripherals, Drainages, Upper and Lower Extremity, Abd and Pelvic, Vascular Studies, Venous Access, Neurological Studies.


Department Details:

  • 4 IR rooms that include 2 single plan and 2 biplane Siemens c-arms.
  • Two IR techs are assigned to each room: one tech circulates and the other scrubs.
  • Level 1 trauma, Level 1 PE, Level 1 stroke, vascular interventional and neuro interventional, including angiograms, embolizations, nephrostomy, IVC filter placement, PE thrombectomy, intracranial thrombectomy, stent placements, central line insertions, and more.

*** Call-Ins: If a traveler calls in for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to:

  • Make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE.
  • If a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract.
  • If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract.
