Join our team as a Commissioning Engineer (CxE) specializing in Data Center Infrastructure. You'll be part of a dynamic team tackling complex challenges in data center construction and operation. Our commissioning team ensures that construction aligns with engineering designs and exceeds customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee testing and validation of electrical and mechanical infrastructure data centers.
  • Review design documents and equipment submittals and lead Factory Witness Testing (FWT).
  • Manage third-party commissioning vendors in conducting onsite testing and system integration.
  • Promptly resolve technical issues and mitigate schedule impacts.
  • Share knowledge and lessons learned to foster team growth and program enhancements.
  • Contribute to scheduling, test script development, and project planning.
  • Audit commissioning vendors' activities to ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and safety standards.
  • Report commissioning progress and metrics to the Regional Commissioning Manager.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously within approved budgets.

Daily Tasks:

  • Collaborate with engineering, capacity delivery, operations, and contractor teams to coordinate site activities and resolve issues.
  • Direct the project commissioning vendor in executing functional tests, identifying and resolving issues, and documenting findings.
  • Escalate critical issues to appropriate stakeholders to ensure timely project turnover.

Requirements:

  • Over 5 years of relevant experience in mission-critical facilities or data center infrastructure.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of commissioning experience.
  • Certification or training in NETA, ASHRAE, or similar commissioning courses.
