Safety Manager


Location: Branchburg, NJ

Pay: $95K-$105K annually

Hours: M-F, 8AM to 5PM


Overview:

As the Safety Manager at, your primary responsibility will be to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. You'll lead the implementation of safety and health policies, conduct training sessions, investigate accidents, and collaborate with management to identify and address workplace hazards. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of legal health and safety guidelines, exceptional organizational and communication skills, and the capability to formulate and enforce relevant policies.


Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a safety manager.
  • Profound understanding of legal health and safety guidelines.
  • Proficiency in producing reports and crafting relevant policies.
  • Sound knowledge of data analysis and risk assessments.
  • Strong organizational and motivational skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and keen observation ability.
  • Knowledge of GMP guidelines


Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive safety and health training, accident prevention, and investigation training for managers and supervisors.
  • Assist management in conducting annual workplace inspections to ensure safe and healthful conditions for workers. Prepare necessary notices for management to address any identified hazards.
  • Aid management and supervisors in investigating accidents and devising measures to prevent their recurrence.
  • Develop and implement health and safety plans in accordance with legal guidelines.
  • Formulate and enforce policies to foster a culture of health and safety.
  • Assess practices, procedures, and facilities to evaluate risk and compliance with the law.
  • Conduct training sessions and presentations on health and safety topics and accident prevention.
  • Inspect equipment and machinery to identify potential unsafe conditions.
  • Offer recommendations for addressing issues, improving practices, or implementing new prevention methods.
