Job Title: Power Apps Developer

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)


About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Power Apps Developer to contribute to the development, maintenance, and evolution of custom low-code applications using the Microsoft Power Platform. This role involves working on innovative projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging cutting-edge tools and technologies to meet business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

Development and Maintenance:

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps), Power Pages, and other Microsoft Power Platform components.
  • Build and integrate applications using Microsoft Dataverse, Connectors, Gateways, and APIs for secure data exchange.

Platform Optimization:

  • Help design and mature the organization’s low-code development capabilities, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
  • Interpret project requirements and implement optimal solutions, leveraging tools like Power Fx, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, and Azure DevOps.

Collaboration and Support:

  • Work with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.
  • Provide after-hours support when needed, ensuring smooth project delivery.
  • Collaborate with project teams in an Agile environment, adhering to best practices and methodologies.

Documentation and Testing:

  • Conduct unit testing and create documentation to ensure consistency and alignment with organizational standards.
  • Monitor and maintain system integrations, troubleshooting issues as they arise.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in application development, maintenance, and testing.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
  • 3+ years working with Microsoft Dataverse for data modeling and management.
  • Proficiency in developing Canvas and Model-Driven Apps in Power Apps.
  • 3+ years of experience with Power Pages, Power Fx, RESTful APIs, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, HTML, and JSON.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and related Azure services.
  • Hands-on experience with pre-built/custom Connectors and secure data source Gateways.


Work Environment and Conditions:

  • Location: Hybrid model with a primary location in Austin, TX. Candidates must be onsite at least 2 days per week.
