We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced contract-to-hire Electromechanical Assembler to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, fitting, and soldering components to create complex electromechanical equipment. You will be instrumental in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and longevity of our products. This role requires a deep understanding of electromechanical assembly, a keen eye for detail, and robust problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities:
1. Assemble, install, and adjust mechanical parts according to specifications and test for proper operation.
2. Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.
3. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams to determine methods and sequences of assembly.
4. Use a variety of hand tools and equipment such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, and screwdrivers.
5. Install electrical and electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies, using soldering equipment and hand tools.
6. Collaborate with design engineers to troubleshoot failures and issues derived from test data.
7. Provide guidance and technical support to the manufacturing team.
8. Review and recommend modifications to engineering designs as necessary to improve product performance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
9. Maintain assembly records, reports, and documentation as required.
10. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in electromechanical assembly in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficient in reading and interpreting complex blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
3. Strong knowledge of valves, fittings, and soldering techniques.
4. Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
5. Ability to use a variety of hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification or training is a plus.
10. Commitment to adhering to all safety standards and procedures.
