As an entry-level Software Engineer for this Fortune 500 automotive company, you’ll have the opportunity to work on high-priority customer-facing products that are working to improve the consumers’ experience.

The growing need for this experience is fueling the growth for this team, who manages all the data leaving the organization and provides support to a variety of teams across the enterprise. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing or having earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar technical field
  • Hands-on experience working with Java
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Exposure to database management (SQL, relational vs. nonrelational databases, etc.)
  • BONUS: Cloud experience (GCP, etc.)


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pair-program with other software engineers to deliver user stories.
  • Use the test-driven development methodology to understand technical solutions.
  • Develop web applications within an Agile environment.
  • Use development testing methods, code reviews, and user acceptance testing to ensure quality of deliverables.
  • Provide technical input to the product management team as they prepare user stories for upcoming sprints.
