Our client is looking for Plex Analyst and IT Support located in Metro Detroit

Job Title: IT Professional (Plex ERP Focus)

Position Overview: We are seeking a versatile IT Professional who will play a pivotal role in our transition to Plex ERP. This individual will have a strong foundation in manufacturing processes and general IT support within a dynamic company environment. The primary focus of this role will be to support our shop floor operations while also becoming proficient in Plex ERP implementation and utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Shop Floor Support:

• Provide technical support for shop floor activities, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth operations and address any IT-related concerns promptly.
• Maintain and optimize shop floor systems and equipment to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.

2. IT Support:

• Offer general IT support services to employees across various departments, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels to ensure data security and compliance.
• Conduct regular maintenance tasks, such as software updates, system backups, and antivirus management.

3. Plex ERP Implementation:

• Act as a key liaison between the IT department and manufacturing teams during the Plex ERP implementation process.
• Assist in configuring and customizing Plex ERP modules to align with our manufacturing processes and business requirements.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Plex ERP functionality, ensuring smooth adoption and integration into daily operations.

4. Manufacturing Knowledge:

• Utilize expertise in manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and enhance operational efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Plex ERP, is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
