Document Specialist

Kelly Science is seeking a Documentation Specialist for a growing medical device manufacturer located near Warminster, PA.

Salary: $28-38/hour depending on experience

Shift: Monday- Friday 8am-4:30pm

Employment Type: Full Time; Direct Hire

Summary:

As the Documentation Specialist, you will be responsible for taking complex technical information and translating it into an easily understandable format in accordance with internal documentation guidelines. You will work closely with product development and manufacturing staff to create or revise existing product design or manufacturing process documentations.

Job Duties Include:

• Create new and revise existing technical documents including requirements documents, product design and manufacturing process specifications, verification and validation protocols and reports, and other supporting technical documentation.
• Draft text materials to ensure text and illustrations are completed and coordinated per product or process requirements.
• Review, circulate, edit, assemble, and route documentation for approval through electronic management systems for approval routing of technical documentation.
• Communicate status of work and any requirements for additional information to engineering staff and management.
• Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner and to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or Bachelors degree in a scientific related field
• Previous experience with technical writing within a regulated environment such as medical device, pharmaceuticals, and/or aerospace industry.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills
