BPC Inc. searching for a CNC Maintenance Technician in Irving TX

This is temp to hire

Who has 3 - 5 years minimum experience working on production lines.

Must have flexible time availability, may be required to work weekends.

Education and Training:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Vocational training or an associate degree in maintenance, electrical systems, or a related field preferred.

Completion of apprenticeship programs for both electrical and mechanical systems beneficial.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

Experience with troubleshooting and repairing various machinery and electrical systems.

Knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques to ensure equipment reliability.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in operating and maintaining various machining equipment such as lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC machines.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

Knowledge of machining processes, including cutting, drilling, milling, and turning.

Experience with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for programming CNC machines is a plus.

Electrical Skills:

Familiarity with electrical systems, components, and equipment.

Ability to install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and machinery.

Understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Mechanical Skills:

Proficiency in maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment.

Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical power transmission systems.

Knowledge of machining processes and equipment operation.

Communication, Teamwork, and Safety:

Effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to solve problems and complete tasks.

Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

Understanding of lockout/tagout procedures, arc flash safety, and other relevant safety practices.

Adaptability and Continuous Learning:

Willingness to adapt to new technologies and advancements in maintenance practices.

Commitment to ongoing professional development through training and certification programs.
