Position Overview:

We are seeking a Clinical Analyst with a focus on procedure suite operations, ideally with experience in surgery IT and holding an Epic Optime certification. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our healthcare operations by leveraging their expertise in procedure suite workflows and technical skills to support the implementation and enhancement of our clinical systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clinical stakeholders to understand and analyze procedure suite workflows, identify opportunities for optimization, and propose innovative solutions.
  • Configure, implement, and maintain clinical systems with a specific focus on procedure suite applications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Provide end-user support and training on procedure suite applications, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth operation of clinical systems.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to perform system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to clinical operations.
  • Participate in project teams to support the implementation of new clinical systems, upgrades, and enhancements, including requirement gathering, testing, and documentation.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to procedure suite operations and clinical informatics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Informatics, Information Technology, Nursing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with clinical systems, with a focus on procedure suite operations.
  • Must be Epic-certified in Optime, Ambulatory, or Orders, with a focus on outpatient procedure workflows.
  • Strong understanding of surgical workflows and procedures.
  • Experience in configuring and supporting clinical systems, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex workflows and propose effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hybrid role: Expect to be onsite 1-2 days per week for rounding and hands-on machine break-fix support. (Epic, Provation, GI/Endo Camera)
