Production Superintendent

Our client is currently seeking a first shift Sr. Production Supervisor for their manufacturing facility.

Job Specifications:

• This position is responsible for maintaining production within the plant, as well as ensuring safety and sanitary conditions are met.
• Will lead, coach, train and develop direct reports on shift.
• Responsible for ensuring that production needs are met in a timely manner with minimal downtime
• Participate on lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.
• Will ensure that quality standards and expectations are met.

Requirements:

• BS/BA Degree is preferred but will consider additional experience in lieu of a degree.
• Formal Lean/CI experience (Six Sigma/Kaizen/Kanban/TPM)
• 5+ years of experience as a Supervisor/Superintendent or Manager in Consumer Packaged Goods (food/beverage/cosmetics, etc.) manufacturing.
• Experience leading salaried direct reports
• Open to 1st shift, Monday through Friday with an occasional Saturday (with extra pay)
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus
