Position : IT Operations Research Analyst
Location : Fort Worth, TX
Duration : 3 Months with EXT
-Must be local to Dallas (preferred) or Phoenix -Must be skilled in mathematical optimization and Java, Azure and SQL also highly preferred -Must have knowledge of IBM Cplex, Gurobi, or Fico xpress -Must have a graduate degree or Ph.D such as in Industrial Engineering
• Master’s/PhD degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Math, Statistics)
• 2+ years of experience with Java and commercial solvers (FICO Xpress, CPLEX, Gurobi)
• 2+ years of experience developing and implementing large scale optimization models using MIP and heuristics
• 2+ years of experience in a technical professional environment
• Experience in using cloud platforms and parallel processing to scale model development/ deployment
• Ability to work 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) onsite in Dallas (preferred) or Phoenix

Minimum Qualifications
- Masters/PhD degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Math, Statistics)
- Experience with at least one Object Oriented programming language (e.g., C++, Java)
- Depth of knowledge in at least one OR skill area (e.g., optimization, simulation, statistics)
- Practical experience with data extraction, cleaning, and analysis
- Demonstrated aptitude for independent learning, logical analysis, problem identification, and problem solving
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a technical professional environment
- 2+ years of experience developing and implementing large scale optimization models using MIP and heuristics
- 2+ years of experience in Java
- Experience in using cloud platforms and parallel processing to scale model development/ deployment
