Position Overview:

As a Maintenance Manager at Grassland Dairy, you will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians and overseeing the upkeep of machinery, equipment, and plant systems. Your leadership will ensure the safe and efficient operation of our production facilities.


Key Responsibilities will include:

Safety and Quality Oversight:

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, food safety standards, and overall quality of production operations.

Equipment Maintenance Management:

  • Supervise and direct the quick and proper repair of plant equipment failures, coordinating maintenance personnel.
  • Ensure a timely response to critical equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.

Maintenance Workshop Management:

  • Establish, equip, and maintain a fully functional maintenance workshop to support common repair and fabrication procedures, ensuring all tools and equipment are available.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Provide technical troubleshooting support to machine operators on issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control systems.
  • Ensure operators are supported in resolving operational issues swiftly and efficiently.

Downtime and Maintenance Tracking:

  • Develop and implement a system to track downtime, repairs, and maintenance history, enabling analysis of the operating costs of major equipment.
  • Ensure accurate recording and data-driven insights for continuous improvement.

Preventive Maintenance Program:

  • Establish and manage a preventive maintenance program for all major production equipment, ensuring longevity, reliability, and operational efficiency.

System Development and Installation:

  • Oversee the development and installation of various plant systems as assigned by management, ensuring they meet the operational needs.

Maintenance of Major Plant Systems:

  • Ensure ongoing maintenance and operational efficiency of key plant systems
